Exhibition programme:

Week 1 (14 – 22 November): Premiere of the film work FOLGEN as a 4-channel installation with a lecture performance by Thomas Taube on 21 November at 6 p.m.
Week 2 (27 November – 6 December): Screening of STREAM as a 4-channel installation with a lecture performance on 28 November at 6 p.m. (also shown at 42. Kasseler Dokfest from 19 – 23 November with an artist talk on 20 November)
Weeks 3 – 5 (11 – 20 December): Screening of the works OCCIDENT, NARRATION, FREIHEIT and Dark Matters (Dark Matters will also be shown at Suburbia Contemporary in Barcelona from 11 – 21 November on the occasion of the Loop Festival with an artist talk on 18. November)
Week 5: Performance FREIHEIT with Thomas Taube on 19 December from 12 noon to 6 p.m.

Lecture performance: 21 (FOLGEN) & 28 (STREAM) November from 6 p.m.
Performance FREIHEIT : 19 December from 12 – 6 p.m.



Thomas Taube, visual artist and filmmaker, exhibits nationally and internationally, including at CCP Melbourne, Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig and Int. Short FF Oberhausen. Winner of the Leipzig Exhibition Prize 2015, the Marion Ermer Prize 2016 and recipient of various grants, including the residency at ISCP New York or the Thuringian State Scholarship for Fine Arts. His works are held in state and private collections incl. Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden. Thomas Taube is currently working on his debut in feature film. For his absurd arthouse drama ALMANSTADT he received amongst others the federal BKM script-funding. ALMANSTADT is in early development and will be shot in 2027.
