The new photographs by Steffen Junghans, taken with analogue large-format camera on film, framed and presented behind glass, explore, among other things, the notorious question of whether photography is to be considered as reality or fiction. Junghans debates this topic in manifold subjects. These works share the fact that they all have been translated into phenomena of loss. The artist calls the show »oblivion« and creates thereby another theorem - can one remember the forgotten?
