Looking back at the last six decades, Hans Aichinger has invited a long-standing friend, fellow artist Matthias Kanter, for a joint
exhibition. Since the working methods of the two painters could hardly be more different, they agreed instead on something that both artists have observed and often discuss: a deficit in our abilities to make deeper connections between existence and meaning. In attempting to statistically capture this observation, the artists pose a simple theory of everything. Threequarters understood?
